This blade is made from W2 steel. The handle is Macassar ebony (including sapwood) with a nickel silver spacer.

This Hamon has some blotchy activity bellow the Habuchi. Its not an effect I favor. However, the overall clarity of the Hamon has enough beauty to make the cut for this initial, discounted release.

Please note that the knives in this release have a range of polishing defects. This rarely includes any deep scratches from foundational grinding but mostly consists of buffing chatter and some very superficial scratches from careless handling.
