This is the largest Honyaki so far. I actually forged it many years ago but only recently felt ready to try polishing it. I would say it turned out well in that regard. Please take note of the profile: the tip is higher than a lot of folks prefer these days.

The Hamon is quite clear but there is a cloud on the right side that is unfortunate.

Please note that the knives in this release have a range of polishing defects. This rarely includes any deep scratches from foundational grinding but mostly consists of buffing chatter and some very superficial scratches from careless handling.
