This one was on the verge of being too funky to release. The hamon is ragged and disjointed in a few spots (The clay many have become partly detached in those areas during quenching). However, there is also a destinct course banding occurring along the habuchi which I think is pretty interesting. It’s really hard to photograph. I think someone who invests some time in polishing this one will be rewarded.

This rarely includes any deep scratches from foundational grinding but mostly consists of buffing chatter and some very superficial scratches from careless handling.
